The construction of protective dikes causes a number of impacts on the seabed. For thirty years the last rock layer (shell) is often made of manufactured blocks (tetrapods, acropods, etc). In collaboration with engineers calculating this type of structure, Architeuthis has developed the Hexapod which adds an environmental function by offering open cavities ready to be invested.
