Laying pipelines on the seabed requires them to be ballasted. Such ballasts clutching the pipeline can have another use with the versatility of the Hexapora modules.

Now the Hexacavaliers allow to hold the pipeline on the seabed and have an artificial reef function.

A first set of Hexacavaliers weighting 3 tons each have been designed in August 2012 for the Monaco principaty
