DIODON

Traditionally a scuba diver uses a buoyancy compensator or stabilization jacket attached the bottle. The stabilization is the responsibility of the diver, a task that can be complex as the volume of air is constantly changing with the pressure due to the depth.

The Diodon consists of two oval metal structures clamped on elastomeric membranes directly installed on the scuba tank releasing the diver form an often bulky jacket. Stabilization is performed automatically after an initial surface setting thanks to a mechanical regulator connected to the bottle that also acts as a damp valve.
